Origin: Gingia Estate, Brahmaputra Valley, Assam Region
Established in 1926, the Gingia Tea Estate lies north of the Brahmaputra River where the climate and rich soil is ideal for tea. A very enjoyable tea on its own, Gingia Assam is full-bodied, tippy, and deliciously malty.
Assam teas are traditionally used as a blend for English Breakfast teas due to their robust flavor, mild sweetness and a malty finish that will hold up well to the addition of milk and sugar.
Preparation: Bring water to a boil. Use one tsp per cup. Steep 3-5 minutes.
