A popular Japanese green tea, Genmaicha offers an aromatic blend that tastes of chestnuts, oats with grassy notes. The combination of steamed green tea with roasted rice lends to Genmaicha’s unique appearance and taste.
Preparation: Bring water to 176ºF/80°C. Use 1 to 1 ½ tsp per 6 oz water. Steep 1 to 2 minutes. Multiple infusions.
