Scented Green Tea
Origin: Fujian Province, Fuding County
Enjoy the pure refreshing taste of green tea and relax with the enchanting fragrance of jasmine. Young tea buds are hand-rolled into precious pearls and covered with genuine jasmine flowers to naturally absorb its floral scent. The spent flowers are then removed and the process is repeated with fresh flowers until the pearls of young buds have fully absorbed the genuine floral scent. The tender buds offer delightful flavors of sweet plum and peach notes as its charming bouquet uplifts your spirits.
Preparation: To appreciate the unfurling of the leaves, brew the leaves in a tempered glass cup or pot. Use 1 tsp per 8 oz cup. Heat water to 87°C / 190°F. If you prefer, do an initial rinse by pouring enough hot water to cover the leaves then immediately discard the rinse. Add hot water to the leaves and steep for 2-3 minutes. Infuse multiple times.
