From the tranquil hills of Shizuoka comes our kukicha, a unique tea made in the spring from the stems and stalks after sencha production. With practically no astringency, kukicha is also referred to as stem or twig tea. A delicious and well-balanced green tea, enjoy the bright mixture of lovely shades of green, its sweet, grassy mellowness and light nutty taste.
Preparation: Use 1 – 1.5 tsp of tea for 6 oz water at 175°F. Steep for 1 to 2 minutes. Best used within a month after opening.
