From the Wuyi Mountains in the Fujian Province of China, Lapsang Souchong has a history that dates over 400 years.
Tea leaves are withered over pinewood embers giving it its distinctive aroma and robust character. A classic and comforting tea well known for its smoky flavor and aroma.
Preparation: Heat water to 212°F. Use 1 teaspoon per cup. Steep 3 to 5 minutes.
